Lucky Singh

11, November 2025

By the grace of Waheguru Ji, on 11-11-2025, the Manukhta Di Sewa Parivar got the opportunity to serve Lucky Singh, who lives in Jagan Bhatte Wali Gali, Ward No. 10, District Mansa.
This child was living in a rented house under extremely poor conditions. About one and a half years ago, on the occasion of Janmashtami, he was mixing sulphur and potassium nitrate to make firecrackers. Unfortunately, the mixture he kept in his pocket exploded, causing a blast. As a result, one of his legs was completely burned, and the other leg was partially injured, though that leg recovered soon.
After the incident, his poor family kept running from one hospital to another for treatment of the burned leg. At Faridkot Medical College, an incomplete surgery was performed — doctors took flesh from the healed leg for a skin graft surgery. However, due to a lack of proper post-surgery care, the leg from which the flesh was taken also got severely infected and decayed. Unable to afford further treatment, the helpless family returned home.
His elderly grandmother began taking care of him. Because the child remained bedridden for long, one of his legs has now twisted completely, and the leg that was burned has joined below the knee, leaving him unable to walk or move properly and living a life full of suffering.
Lucky’s father has passed away, and his mother works in people’s houses to earn a living. His grandmother has also accompanied him to “Supneya Da Ghar” (Home of Dreams).
Let us all pray that during his stay here, Lucky recovers fully, undergoes successful surgeries, regains his ability to walk, and begins a happy and fulfilling life again with his family.
